In some cases, it may simply mean relying on our 12 years of experience to determine a more appropriate placement for straps. In other cases, the bike may require added room in the transport vehicle – which limits the total number of motorcycles we can move at a time.
Insurance

Always ask for specifics of a policy including deductibles, maximum amount of liability or if certain damages are not covered. You can purchase extra coverage through the motorcycle transport company or extend your policy for the days of transport through your private insurer.
Owners of new, antique, classic and vintage bikes – especially those where replacement parts are difficult and expensive to locate – often want the maximum coverage. In these cases, even though the odds of damage are low, owners would rather pay a small amount for extra coverage rather than the exceptional amount it would take to repair the bike.
On the other hand, if you are shipping a non-operational, old, worn-down bike, you probably don’t need extra coverage.
